Leander Ranks #5 in the Nation for Best U.S. Suburbs to Move to in 2021

It will be no surprise to any Leanderite to hear that Homes.com ranked Leander as the fifth-best suburb to move to in the United States in 2021. Leander has long been the oasis that both Texas natives and Texas newcomers sought out for the perfect mix of quiet security and lively activities. Events like the Old Town Street Festival, which attracts 5,000-10,000 attendees every year, and well-planned parks like Lakewood, which offers canoeing, fishing, trails, a splash pad, skatepark, and outdoor games.  The Old Town Street Festival boasts a mix of family fun, shopping, and live entertainment that has something for everyone. When looking to name the best suburbs, Homes.com measured affordability, work-from-home score, crime, and local school districts, among other things, to rank suburbs around the U.S., and three Texas cities made the top 10 confirming what Texans have always known, Texas is an amazing state!

This isn’t the first time Leander has topped a list for growth and desirability. In 2019, Leander was ranked as the #1 fastest-growing city in Texas, as noted here by the Leander Chamber of Commerce. Leander has also been ranked as the Best Place to Raise a Family in Central Texas by SmartAssest.com and the Top City in Texas for Job Growth by The Journal Times.
