After over 117 years in business, H-E-B is still innovating the way we shop. Their new development, a 5o,ooo square-foot facility in Leander, TX, will be utilized to help support the rising demand for online shopping. The e-commerce fulfillment center will “allow for more capacity, greater efficiency and less aisle congestion for the in-store shopper.”
Creating Jobs
Adding various forms of automation to the process, H-E-B partners will be able to serve more customers and expand curbside and delivery for Leander and the surrounding areas. This new facility will create over 150 jobs as part of the e-commerce team to “serve more customers in this rapidly growing part of the state,” said H-E-B.
