Businesses & Vendors: Prepare Now So You Have The Best Expo Ever

The Living Leander Community and Career Expo is right around the corner, and we know that the businesses and vendors who make this an amazing event are busy preparing. We want to connect you with the tools and local businesses that will help you create the print and promotional materials at your booth that will get you noticed!

Tips to Get Noticed:

  1. SIGNAGE SIGNAGE SIGNAGE!
Great signage at your event is as important as location is to real estate! Here are some signs you might need:
    -Business Name and Logo
    -Services or Products you offer
    -Help Wanted or Hiring sign
-Giveaways or Game Signage (draw people into your booth!)
  2. Prepare Materials
Like applications or contact collection forms, and flyers, brochures or sales forms. Having a plan for collecting the contacts you make, whether it is digitally or on paper and keeping your table organized will show how professional you are.
  3. Come out from behind your table
It can be hard for people to approach a table, so make it easier on them by being out and engaging them as they approach.
  4. Games and Giveaways
Great booths from the past had awesome theming and eye-catching games and giveaways. The best giveaways are something useful that the visitor can keep and use later or use right away. Even tasty treats make great giveaways!

Smokey Mo’s gave out reusable cups and coupons for the next visit, taking advantage of giving out something useful and having a bounce-back coupon!

ACDI was impossible to pass by without stopping with their Monopoly theme.

Bath Expo used their signage and space well to get noticed!

  5. Don’t forget your door prize!
This is a great way to get extra marketing! These door prizes are used throughout the expo and highlight the vendor there! More details are given in the FAQ section about the requirements for these!
