The Living Leander Community and Career Expo is right around the corner, and we know that the businesses and vendors who make this an amazing event are busy preparing. We want to connect you with the tools and local businesses that will help you create the print and promotional materials at your booth that will get you noticed!

Tips to Get Noticed:

Great signage at your event is as important as location is to real estate! Here are some signs you might need:
    -Business Name and Logo
    -Services or Products you offer
    -Help Wanted or Hiring sign
-Giveaways or Game Signage (draw people into your booth!)
  2. Prepare Materials
Like applications or contact collection forms, and flyers, brochures or sales forms. Having a plan for collecting the contacts you make, whether it is digitally or on paper and keeping your table organized will show how professional you are.
  3. Come out from behind your table
It can be hard for people to approach a table, so make it easier on them by being out and engaging them as they approach.
  4. Games and Giveaways
Great booths from the past had awesome theming and eye-catching games and giveaways. The best giveaways are something useful that the visitor can keep and use later or use right away. Even tasty treats make great giveaways!

Smokey Mo’s gave out reusable cups and coupons for the next visit, taking advantage of giving out something useful and having a bounce-back coupon!

ACDI was impossible to pass by without stopping with their Monopoly theme.

Bath Expo used their signage and space well to get noticed!

  5. Don’t forget your doorprize!
This is a great way to get extra marketing! These door prizes are used throughout the expo and highlight the vendor there! More details are given in the FAQ section about the requirements for these!

What is provided? You will have a table, tablecloth, and one chair. You will need to bring additional chairs if needed.
$50 Door Prize– All vendors are asked to bring a $50 value door prize. We will go around and collect them before the start of the event.

Decorations– We are celebrating our 75th Diamond Anniversary this year!  If you are looking for decorating ideas, BIRTHDAY PARTY or DIAMONDS is the way to go.

Job Fair– If you are hiring, please let us know so we can indicate you as a job fair participant on the map.

Booth Setup- Any booths with anything that may scratch the gym floor (metal, wood, etc.) will need to bring pads to put under whatever is touching the floor. Suitable protection can be foam pads, cardboard, carpet squares, etc.

Electric-  Booths with electricity are available for purchase for $100. Electricity must be purchased prior to set up so we can place you accordingly. All vendors purchasing electricity must provide their own extension cords.

How many people should I plan for?  We estimate 1000-1200.

Can we hang things?  Yes, you can hang items from your table or behind your booth on the wall, but there will NOT be pipe and drape, so please plan accordingly.  You must use Command Picture Hanging Strips or Sticky Tack, so no marks are left on the wall.

Can we see the venue prior to the EXPO?  Yes, the PAC is open for business and would love to have you stop by. Here is the photo album from previous expos:

Can we sell out of our booths?  Yes, you can sell from your booth.

Is there Wi-Fi? There is not adequate Wi-Fi to support everyone at the PAC so please bring a hotspot if you need wifi to operate.

What should we hand out?  Brochures, cards, pens, candy, or other fun items.  We also encourage you to cater to the youth at the event, games, and fun activities are always a huge hit.  Need help with ideas and signage? We have lots of chamber members that can help you create the print and promotional materials at your booth that will get you noticed!
